Biography
Art is my passion. Oh the joy it brings and a fire in my belly that nothing else can. The images dance and cavort in my mind, jostling for position until they fall exhausted on the paper or canvas.
I am in love with positive images that have the ‘feel good factor’, designs that bring a smile to me as I work and to the spectator as they absorb the creation.
My career as an artist started with school-friends buying my drawings. After completing a diploma in art and design I worked as a designer producing embroidery transfers and tapestries. I took a career break and trained as a nurse, another of my passions. Returning to the art world I graduated in 2014 from Somerset College of Art and Technology with a BA(Hons) in surface design.
I have exhibited locally and nationally, with my work sailing across the oceans to Brazil, Australia and The Bahamas.
